This Privacy Policy describes how Quick List ("Service," "App," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our browser-based to-do list and calendar application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

We do not collect, store, process, or transmit any personal information.

Quick List operates entirely within your web browser. All data you create — including tasks, tags, calendar events, notes, and preferences — is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage on your local device. We have no servers, databases, or backend infrastructure that receives or stores your data.

2. Local Data Storage

The Service uses browser localStorage to save your data locally on your device. This means:

Your data never leaves your device or browser.
We cannot access, view, retrieve, or recover your data.
Your data persists only in the specific browser and device where it was created.
Clearing your browser's storage, cache, or cookies will permanently and irreversibly delete all data stored by the Service.
Using the Service in a private/incognito browsing window may result in data not being saved or being deleted when the window is closed.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be explicit. We do not collect:

Personal identification information (name, email, phone number, address)
Account or login credentials (no accounts are required)
Usage analytics, behavioral data, or browsing history
Device information, IP addresses, or geolocation data
Cookies for tracking or advertising purposes
Financial or payment information
Any content you create within the application

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Quick List does not use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, or any other tracking technologies. We do not use any analytics services (such as Google Analytics), advertising networks, or third-party tracking tools.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service loads web fonts from Google Fonts. Google's use of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. No other third-party services are integrated into the application. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any information with third parties because we do not collect any information.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect any personal information, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has somehow provided personal information through the Service, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) provide you with specific rights regarding your personal information. However, because Quick List does not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information, these rights are not applicable to your use of our Service. Specifically:

Right to Delete: All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information. We have never sold personal information.

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those specified in CCPA Section 1798.121. We do not sell or share personal information as defined under CCPA/CPRA.

8. Other State Privacy Laws

For residents of Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), Texas (TDPSA), Oregon (OCPA), Montana (MCDPA), and other states with consumer data privacy laws: because we do not collect, process, or store any personal data, the rights and obligations under these laws are not triggered by your use of the Service. All data remains exclusively on your device under your control.

9. International Users

If you access the Service from outside the United States, please note that no data is transferred internationally because all data remains on your local device. The Service does not process personal data in a manner that would trigger obligations under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK Data Protection Act 2018, or similar international privacy laws.

10. Do Not Track Signals

We honor Do Not Track (DNT) signals. However, since we do not track users in any way, the DNT signal has no practical effect on our Service. We do not track users regardless of DNT settings.

11. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally in your browser, the security of your data depends on the security of your device and browser. We recommend:

Keeping your browser and operating system up to date.
Using a secure, password-protected device.

12. Data Retention

We do not retain any data. Data persists in your browser's localStorage until you or your browser removes it. We have no ability to retain, backup, or restore your data.
